Premier League 2025/26

Sick to death of it.

Arsenal should make the set piece coach the manager, without him the Arse is crap.

Stoke have scored 60 minutes of time wasting now

You can’t drop Golden boy Saka.

Leeds look utter wank

Quoting him directly from his post-match interview on TNT sports. Joe Cole vigorously agreed with Frank when he said that.

His hair has come out of place?

Arsenal’s biggest signing this season was the 8 second rule.

That right there is more goals guarenteed than the forward they paid 62m for.

Zubimendi looking the part now.

That’s my saturday football done.

What’s remarkable about Gyokeres is commentators and analysts are now scrambling to describe his strengths to explain why he’s not getting involved. The problem is now they have now invented a completely different player (not very athletic but is a target man who will thrive if arsenal get it into the box) than how he was described before he signed.

They see him stinking it up and assume there must be something else he is good at

Cleaned the bathroom at half time and saw the game has got away. Right. Back to the cleaning

Well that was a pretty blatant dive, but I guess we’re not allowed to say it for fear of being mean to a child

I note 2 important injuries for Arsenal though. Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka. Both players that would be highly likely fielded against us.

Do we have any idea whether they are serious (as in to preclude them from lining up against us) or not ?

Well, Ødegaard never gives up without real pain/worry of aggravation of injury (he often plays with some pain). Saka looked painful (for him), he looked distraught and it was an early shower for him. But you’ll have to wait for Arsenal’s statements tomorrow, I would assume.

We can speculate of course. But it’s hard to say for now, just judging from tv pictures.

A safe bet, I think, is that at least one of them will be out. Maybe both.

It matters not a lot at all, but it seems that we have to beat Newcastle by 2-3 goals, then beat Arsenal by a 2-3 to be Top of the League after Round 3. Of course, it’s easier if we just massacre Newcastle 7-0

If Fulham gets a result (a draw, whatever), Manchester United will not get above 16th .Very silly exercise, I know. But I like daydreaming.

Nonsense punditry is spoiled this week for teams to big up.

They will reach fever pitch if Man Utd get a win and Sesko scores.

Spurs had a really nice balance today of risk taking and responsibility. There were periods they just just put men behind the ball, but ther were periods they really went for it and the second goal was the fruit of that. That sort of balance is a lot more impressive to me, and interesting to watch, than a side that plays with a pure ideology. I’m going to be fascinated with what he does this year and a part of me will have my fingers crossed for him.
