Premier League 2025/26

that push by leny yoro on Calvin Bassey, if you’re allowed to get away with that then what’s the point of defending corners?

Looking forward to another week of hearing about how great Man Utd looked despite not winning.

They looked great till about 15 min in the first half.

Their midfielders are going to get fucked over.

They can beat anyone.

Suppose it’s possible so long as you believe in the Multiverse, Parallel Dimensions, Alternate timelines or Genies granting 3 points instead of wishes

Goldbridge is banking the 3 points against Burnley…

I’ve never wanted a boliover so much in my life.

If they defend against Burnley the way they did against Fulham for the equaliser then I’ve got news for Goldbridge

Well that’s just rude. Fullkrug actually scored this week.

I didn’t think Wolves looked great against City, but I didn’t think they looked completely hapless either. Maybe the loss to Spurs makes that 4-0 incrementally worse, but they were in the game against Bournemouth until the red. By contrast, West Ham had a decent first half against Sunderland and then collapsed, and have not shown signs of life since. Three teams go down, so Wolves definitely have concerns as well, but I think there is a legitimate chance that the Hammers will get to October before they get their 3rd point.

To be fair, that is Arsenal’s primary scoring technique. The Mancs are just trying to emulate it.

It’s crazy that so many decent teams are playing tactics that were popular in the 80s.

He did? You mean like…with his missus?

1-1 wasn’t too bad. Would have prefered Fulham to get 3, but not bad. I read that United got a penalty that they shouldn’t have had, so it’s nice that Bruno blasted one over.

Did you hear about the great injustice that will dominate discussion for weeks if not months, Chris Kav walked into him about 30 seconds before he took it and this was so traumatic he sent his penalty kick to the south west.

Kelly Cates was literally trolling the punditry :joy:

Poor guy won’t feel safe on a football pitch for a long time after being blindsided like that

Surprised he didn’t fall over, roll round get awarded 2 penalties and miss them both.

Their goal shouldn’t have stood, blatant 2 handed push in Bassey’s back, how VAR judged that as legal is beyond me.

And that’s now a tactic, given Arsenal’s blatant fouling in the box for 90% of set pieces.

It’s the crock of shit you hear from the commenatators as well, backing up the push or the holding of the shirt, they are morons and making the game a joke by not calling it whole heartedly.
