Was hoping for a City win but was that from them? Sitting deep. Long balls. 33% possession.
Felt like they wanted Arsenal to score and once they conceded they suddenly started to play football again.
Definitely not afraid of City. They are struggling already and it will continue when the games come thick and fast.

I don’t think Arsenal will struggle in attack and definitely not at the back. Can they challenge us for the title until the end of the season? Arsenal are great in ‘bullying’ the ‘smaller’ teams - even when the games come thick and fast. They have a very good squad I and think they will get close to more than just one trophy.
Their problem are once again the big games. They already dropped points against us and City. Next week going to Newcastle and might struggle but after that I expect them to go on a good run.

Yet last season they struggled to put a good long run of wins together, drawing or losing games they were expected to win with regularity. Perhaps they have found a way to counter that problem this season, but it’s too early to be sure.

They’ll bully teams in setpieces. Any teams which are used to those routines are gonna find it easier to take points off of them.
Man United outplayed them. I mean this shit Man United team outplayed them. They had an easy go against Leeds (who basically are relegation fodder) and Forest (With Ange). The minute they got matches against us and City, they went back into that stupid defence first mode. This after having the most expensive squad in this season. Absolute idiocy. You don’t win the league with that kind of mindset.
Arsenal’s bench strength is insane in every department. To startt with 3 CB’s and 3 DM’s in this match is cowardice. Eze should have started as a #10.

Not sure Newcastle will score too many goals considering we’ve taken Isak and Ekkers from them but yeah, they won’t be bullying the likes of Guimares etc at St James Park.

I’ve had a theory since forever that we do well in the season if we beat Chelsea, especially away. Form aside, that’s always one fixture I’m dreading. However, let’s see what the lads come up with at Crystal Palace, that is always a difficult game.
