The wildest thing about it was how he managed to miss the first one.

the second brighton goal was magnificent , the type of goal you show kids who aspire to become footballers, the wingers run was perfect.
it is such a simple goal, and translates to almost anylevel, but its a move that makes football such fun to watch.
a comment was made a few weeks back (not on here) about how additude and application is not a skill and anyone can do it. that goal with the run from the winger is a perfect example of that, clever interplay and just levels of application.
after a year or so of slotball, watching that goal makes you jealous as fuck

Was a nice goal. Well attacked by the midfielder who showed the desire and attitude to get on the end of it. Agree with you.
Have to say though, on a sidenote, the defending was poor from the CB. He went with the wrong leg (his left) and as such he was off balance and got skinned. He should have gone with his right and kept his body open to block the cross. So common in football that defenders do that, going with their stronger foot instead of the correct option.

Chelsea is quite possibly a solid keeper away from being a serious challenger.

Sanchez is their Mignolet — terrible distribution and always a mistake in him.

I’d say he is worse, his saves always look odd as well, like when a none goalie goes in goal.
