Palace have lost it due to not picking up the player in the hole, neither midfielder covers it or goes with the runner.
But, I don’t understand why one of the 3 CB’s don’t pick either Cherkin or Foden in that space
That is what the 3 CBs are for.
But they´re playing some silly 3 4 3 which ends up a 5 2 3 in reality. Outnumbered in midfield and giving the ball away constantly - recipe for disaster. You can´t give the ball away like this and expect to get anything. Exhausting if nothing else.
When the pass from the interception goes to Foden, he is in a reasonable position but doesn’t react and move quick enough to cover, his 1st instinct was to ball watch rather than move, he just isn’t aware of the danger.
Nah, no chance of catching Foden there. On the turn and leaving his own man.

You´re clutching at straws to criticise him. You can criticise him for walking in general but for their last 2 goals there wasn´t that much for him to do.

On the game, absolutely awful from palace. Might go down. Not seen a performance as bad as that for a while.
City looked much better than us going forward but I think better teams should get at them and create chances.
