I can never understand why defenders do that. It´s not like it was Arjen Robben cutting in on his left and unstoppable.
Didn’t know anything about Newcastle and Bournemouth’s new coaches before the season, but so far I like Rose and dislike Jaissle.
Newcastle look too negative for my liking, staying a bit too deep and trying to succer-punch. Goals coming from individual brilliance and/or opponent mistakes.
Rose seems to have picked up from where Iraola left off - they try to play football, go toe to toe with everyone, look positive, brave, attacking - lovely stuff.
And the more I see of Truffert, the more I like him, looks like a better version of Bournemouth’s Kerkez, who looked a better version (in possession) of Liverpool’s Kerkez.

Yes! Well said, straight to the point. Sometimes it seems like we forget there’s an opposing team, and that most of those teams are really good.

I cannot understand the mentality of players who get their opponents pinned down in the corner but then kick or push them to concede a free kick… brainless.
