Villa look utterly clueless, wouldn’t surprise me if Emery walked given everything that’s happened over the summer.
I think we’re saying this about Emery’s Villa at the start of every damn season and then he gets them to click and go on a great run!
For the first time in years, I got to watch two games on the same day - and both were pretty good. Dedić is going to be some signing for Newcastle, Scott and Truffert are very underrated players (though Scott really needs to do something about that Grealish tribute act on his head), Brentford and Sunderland are going to be even more difficult to play against compared to the last season. I thought the latter were unlucky not to win it in the first half, they were that good.

Maybe it is just start of the season stuff.
Fulham and Palace looked terrible, Bournemouth and Newcastle were not really that much better at times, Hull and Villa also quite low standard.
Obviously we have had our own struggles. Teams still getting it together.
Watching MOTD, he was very dodgy and partially at fault for both Bournemouth goals. Daydreaming for the first letting Tavernier sneak up on him and then caught out with a heavy touch upfield 10 seconds before they double their lead.
Guilty as charge! Is it a bird? is it a plane? … Nope, just Jacob Murphy flying through the sky.

I laughed loud when that happened in the game. Unfortunately if you don’t throw yourself to the ground, you might not get a foul given, even though the opponent used their arms to hold you. But the length which Murphy went to underline the contact was hilarious

Very nice solo goal by Mbeumo. Pickford was never reaching that one, even with normal sized arms.

That was classy from Mbuemo. Not sure Pickford did great on it, but real quality from stuff nonetheless.
Rashford’s been good today, Tarkowski with one of the tackles of the season. He risked it all by going in from behind like that.

LOL at that move starting from Hackney tackling the ball straight to Sesko. He’d have been better off staying on his feet and letting Kobe have the ball.
Commentator said ‘despite a spectacular effort by Pickford’. If it was less spectacular, he would have saved it. The jump was completely useless.
