I think the ‘not a nice look’ happened in Manhattan the other night. Global respect for India has cratered. The principle of non-aggression came before the Security Council, and India looked to its own diplomatic interests first. Many people expected better of India. We all know this isn’t Nehru’s India any more, but believed India to have some idealism when it came to non-aggression.

Trust me, I wish my country didn’t sign on to QUAD. I think it’s a recipe for disaster. Whatever Idealism that India had died when we elected (not me) a mass murdering psychopath into power and one that’s deluded the bulk of the population into following his idiocy,

Like i said, I’ve made the mistake of trying to get for causality in this regrettable conflict and the ensuing war in this thread when the emotions are still raw (needless to say it wasn’t the right time and place for that). I do believe that there are various factors which have led to this conflict and am open to discussing that ONCE there’s a resolution to the said crisis(one that includes Russia removing the troops from Ukraine). The resolution needs to happen on priority,
To people who I did offend , It was not my intent to do so.
The other points that I’ve mentioned aren’t whataboutery , but are sequences of issues that directly or indirectly have had a part to play in having this shitshow prolong to the extent that it has. I’m willing to discuss those and have constructive discussions on those once there is a resolution to this war).
