@magnus and @libby I thank you for all of your updates. I have to tap out for a few days. It’s too much…
- Last photo of my family in Ukraine. My grandfather is the toddler with the white jumper over his head. Grandmother was born here in Canada but her parents immigrated from Ukraine in early 1900s.
It would be insane. So would they actually?
Slovenian consulate targeted with precision strike. Must be a message.
The depressing reality is that these ambushes and destroyed convoys are clearly exacting a terrible toll on the Russians, but they are happening deeper and deeper into Ukraine.
Yes, Russia is “winning” militarily, there is no hiding that crystal clear fact. It just carries a very high cost to them. The , perhaps forlorn, hope is that the cost will be high enough for them to negotiate something which is not complete capitulation for Ukraine.
Canada has the highest percentage of citizens of Ukrainian descent of any country in the world. Far, far higher than the US.
The Ukrainian anthem sung at the Winnipeg game tonight is going to be something to hear.
This pro-Kremlin dude is sadly correct:
Putin’s man in Germany in trouble:
The Slovenian Consulate in Kharkiv was destroyed as a “collateral diplomatic damage” as well
Slovenia’s NATO
Yes but it’s a consulate. The Americans bombed the Chinese one in Serbia.
RU probably knew it was evacuated I would guess.
But China’s not in NATO so all good
I just want an excuse to properly help Ukraine
I know, mate Most of us would like to help. Some friends of mine are on the border. Slovakian and Czechs student friend’s of mine. They are picking up refugees and driving them. I sent them 50 Euro for petrol and food today. Not a very large sum, but we are many who contribute and I am unemployed right now.
