Russian War Crimes (Part 1)

It’s gets even more bizarre.

It appears those air stewardess were not even there !!!

There are some really wired aspects to it. Like Putins hand going through a microphone and items on the table changing position (with no one touching them) :joy:

See video

Teapot facing outwards at 4s then inwards.

Watch his hand and the mic

His PR people probably advised him to be closer to the people or something. It could all have been faked accordingly, unbelievable

It’s the long table effect, what ever that is.

But antivaxx propaganda should be blocked?

Not my stance by any means but you either defend the right of free speech or you don’t.

Again, Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Russian spy?!! According to Ukrainian media, the secret services seized “clear evidence” of Kireev’s treachery, including listening devices. The man arrested for ‘treason’ was reportedly shot dead by authorities."

Apologies if this has been posted - I gave up trying to read everything in here days ago - but I found this to be an excellent analysis of the situation much of the world finds itself in. A 10min read, but well worth your time, and a sobering reminder of what this could cost us down the track.

the most bizarre thing for me is that Putin is sitting among people at this table,

every bit of footage we have seen recently of Putin,
he sits at 1 end of a huge table,
whilst everyone else sits at the other end.

So my partner has a theory Putin is actually dead and has been replaced by an AI/puppet or something like this.

This would be the reason he sits far away from everyone, so nobody can notice.

I don’t think think it’s the case, but it’s a “fun” idea for an even more dystopian reality.

I think he sits far away from people because he fears assassination (polonium, Novichok, who knows what else, but it looks to me like he fears close proximity with people).

I think he also has a warped sense of it making him look powerful… he is detached, untouchable.

I would love it if it’s a hologram though, lol!

He’s not. He’s been inserted into the picture.

I think their is a nuance.

Free speech does not guarantee the rights to communicate an individual’s perspective at all times/places/or any manner they desire.

It does not absolve the individual or those around from from responsibility.

If I go into a library and in the childrens section and start ranting about Jeffrey Epstein. You would be pretty disappointed in the library if it turned a blind eye and said well it’s free speech.

TAN has a responsibility to all its members, we also have to protect the site. Ultimately we could not in good conscience/morally turn a blind eye to antivaxxer views (under guise of free speech), when providing such a platform could lead to the death of someone reading or believing it. That might seem hyperbolic but the disinformation in the US has killed thousands.

This is a community and we all understand the damage that could be done if someone was communicating racist content or explicit content. Ultimately we felt antivaxx content was similar.

As a healthcare provider I appreciate this forums stance on antivaxx propaganda. It was hard enough dealing with it at work, I didn’t want to come one here and hear the same disingenuous bullshit.

Amazing how once Russian trolls were silenced, the amount of propaganda was really lowered

Its a dopleganger…

Just want to say thank you for moderating and for taking a considered view. I applaud the stance.

A friend and colleague of mine died on Christmas Day, 50, wife, two kids. He was a college educated business owner and by most measures we aspire to, was doing very well in life.

His wife got well into the anti vax thing and posted all sorts of shit in social media. To what degree he was a genuine believer or not, I’m unsure.

Anyway, got covid, lungs packed up, even in spite of lengthy and expensive treatment, as there was no turning it around. He was otherwise healthy and fit, and had everything to live for.
