Boils my piss over here in Thailand. Most everyone gobbling up the Russia/China propaganda that Ukraine is the petulant child of Russia therefore deserves a smacking. There is strong anti US/NATO sentiment here and are seen as perpetual baddies for meddling in other countriesā affairs, so if RU does it, good for them. The whataboutism and strawmanning is very strong. Also Zelensky being a former comic is a particularly weak argument here and is a common attack on his character and leading capabilities. Well maybe heās a complete idiot, maybe he isnāt. I donāt know. But perhaps let the people of his own country decide that, not us backward ox riding bumpkins, nor fathead Vlad.
What levels of mental gymnastics do you have to do in your head to think that invading another country, rockets in air, tanks on ground and thinly veiled threats of nuclear war is just fine. Fucking hell.
Sorry Iām not adding anything to the discussion, but just to vent a bit and say that there is a very ignorant viewpoint in the eastern side of the globe, and is so frustrating/sickening to witness is the prevailing attitude.
