EU sanctions said by economists to be many magnitudes more powerful than UK sanctions though. And this is still the case.

Meanwhile:
Tomorrow, Russia has announced that they will destroy all defence industry in Ukraine:
Not sure about that unless you’re simply making the point that the EU is bigger than the UK? Even so, cutting Russia off from the world’s biggest financial centre is a big deal.

UK gave oligarch time to move assets as far as I have read and my criticism is because I have read several economists and political scientist criticise the UK sanctions and compared them to the EU ones. I don’t think the size of EU and the UK is relevant there.

If you search on the internet, I am pretty sure you would find relatively extensive criticism of the UK sanctions. I have scrolled through heaps of it from political scientists and economists. But right now, I am focusing my own searches on military developments.
11th day:
And with that, I go to bed. Tomorrow is going to be a big (and awful) bombing day. We will see very large missile strikes.
Thank you for everything you are doing @Magnus. Your efforts are greatly appreciated
Didn’t know about the Russian military symbols until now:
“info on what Russian war symbols mean
Z - eastern forces of Russia
Z in a square - Crimean forces of Russia
O - Belarussian forces of Russia
V - Russian marines
X - forces from Chechnya
A - Russian spec ops and elite forces”
Tik Tok in bloody battle. Top that, people!
China has always been looming over the region though? Maybe not Thailand much, they have kept their neutrality for a century already. But all other SEA and East Asian countries worry about China first, a war in Europe second.
Not many care enough to read multiple news sources reporting this conflict apart from their usual local papers to immediately form the same view as a reader who only read English sources. Even with English sources, afaik FOX News and NYT/Reuters/etc. talk differently too. And in a month when it (hopefully) ends nobody will think about any sentiment about any side.
Russia and China becoming allies is still better for the smaller guys here than when China and the US got chummy with each other at the end of the Cold War.
And sorry it seems like I keep replying only your comments, but I just want to give another perspective to your point.
There are people in my country, with obvious hatred towards Jewish, that are supporting Putin to punish Ukraine because of choosing a Jewish comedian as President.
