Not super relevant, but I just have to:
One of them is going the wrong way!
More Russian disinfo. My twitter feed is full of it because of that cold blooded guy I follow, called Geroman:
The failures by the Russian military are a real embarrassment.
- Poor tactics both on the ground and more generally
- Lack of basic maintenance on weapons that cost millions.
- Inability of troops to communicate.
- Poor logistical support (running out of gas)
- Rations a decade out of date.
The distance of Kiev to the Russian boarder is about 230 miles. It’s a war in their own backyard. It’s truly absurd that they are struggling so much with the basics.
It’s the equivalent of travelling from London to Anfield (220 miles). Breaking down near Luton, Getting caught in rush hour traffic on the M6 near Birmingham. Running out of petrol, mobile not working. Only to realise you have left your wallet at home and all you have to eat is a stale packet of Monster Munch. It’s shambolic.
im assuming its the same as Australia (the US), the price is driven by the sheer distances people have to drive.
once out of major cities public transport can be basic at best.
so whilst we may pay less at the bowser, we probably spent more over the week…if you know what i mean.
Sitting in the lorry whilst those rockets fire. That takes balls.
I’m going to be honest and when I saw that guy walk into the 7 metre deep crater call me a little surprised that the building behind looked in such good condition… Whatever was fired, the blast radius must be more vertical than horizontal?
Probably Fab 1000 , but it was more than 1 bomb. The building was destroyed though if you look at photos.
