I live in Germany so using the former will get you in trouble. Not using the latter will decimate the language.
Believe me when I say that I have horrible memories from my days as a conscript when I look at that. Frozen impregnated mud, stale old impregnated sweat, too little sleep and you are just freezing and feeling miserable. These people have it a lot worse because this is not training.
Well, using the Swaztika in Norway will get you into social problems usually. But kids draw them all the time because it is " socially forbidden" to do so
But seriously, Germany is a special case. I think the German law is wrong (outlawing the Swaztika) but I understand it. I don’t like outlawing symbols personally though. It restricts free speech and makes using the swastika in for instance a theatre show concerning the Second world war some how controversial (of course it shouldn’t be). But that’s my opinion. And opinions differ.
Agree with this guy. You guys may have noticed that I have stopped posting claims of downed aircraft. I just read and ignore. Sometimes it is true, a lot of the time it is a fairy tale.
Just to be clear, I presume you loathe Erdogan and not the entire nation.
And just to be extra clear, I presume you loathe Erdogan and not the animal?
Won’t matter, hello again Donald.
It’s actually a bit more complicated than that. There was a row a couple of years ago because it was banned in a video game. There’s an article about it here:
I think the law generally looks at the context. There are Nazi flags on display at our local museum as part of a display on the Holocaust. The adjacent room has a mock up of a Jewish family’s living room which makes the display as powerful as it is horrifying.
