This is Berlin, some of these people might be Russians, but most of this staged audience are completely deluded Germans. The machinery is working. Makes me sick.

I saw this today in Mitte. There are a lot of Russians in Berlin and a handful of mainly ex DDR sympathisers.
The vast majority support Ukraine and there are blue and yellow flags on every corner.

I know, they are probably AFD anti vaxxers as well. And they are only a small minority compared to the pro Ukraine people but these pictures are going around the world now. I’m really ashamed.

If they love Putin so much, why don’t they leave Germany and go and live in Russia? I find that pretty offensive.

The posts already dissappeared. Maybe they just got hacked or three social media managers with a conscience.
If it’s any help, the Russian family we know have been helping with accommodation for Ukrainian refugees and translating (Russian/German) to help with social services.
I suspect that Putin support and AfD membership is closely related.

One thing I picked up from my mother-in-law was that Stasi and SED were often the same people as former Nazi officials. Not the same sort of people but literally the same individuals.
She also mentioned that the actions of the Russians in Ukraine were very reminiscent of their actions in her village which was predominantly ethnic Sorb.
