Russian War Crimes (Part 2)

Yeah, but we have lots of stories of rear guard left to fend for themselves and told to do whatever, including take off unifofrm, meld in, and get back home on foot.

Apparently from about 12 hours ago, phone signals.

Sucks to be rear guard, but nothing wrong with doing your job and surrendering after there is no way out. Ukraine is generally treating prisoners as well as could be expected.

Maybe I just have no stomach for war, but it really saddens me whatโ€™s happening to the Russian soldiers here (and in general). Just being treated as cannon fodder and throwaway pawns by megalomaniacs.

I hope that Ukraine takes as many of them alive as POWs as they can, rather than massacring them. Win the war through humanity.

If they are hiding in the civilian population and still armed, they have signed their own death warrants. As an order to your own troops, that is frankly an expression of evil.

I think many will be captured. It depends on their modus operandi I think. If they are there as guerilla witout uniforms, then probably yes, but if just trying to run it I think in many cases it will be like a police action to capture them.

It will, but they have no protections as prisoners of war. It will be entirely up to the mercy of the Ukrainian soldiers at the point of capture/execution.

Sure. + a few characters

And next, doubtless it will be more mass graves discovered :rage:

Some speculation here about how we might imagine the eventual demise of Putin. Maybe a bit fanciful , but not impossible , and interesting nevertheless ;

^^^^^ So do they look like the same race of people to you :blush:

It is funny, I thought 96% approval to join Russia would look a little different from that.
