Russian War Crimes (Part 2)

Enormous blunder by Russia, i said from the start they just don’t have enough troops to occupy Ukraine.
The situation is even worst I think. Even if the territory occupied was much smaller they had a front to hold as well as policing the occupied territory. It’s just not possible the numbers never added up and military, rather than police, were used for far too long to control the occupied areas.
The thinking now after soo many humilliating defeats is how can they stop the tidal wave. There must be thousands of Ukrainians wishing to do some sort of resistance stuff. If the Ukrainian army can form cohesive and supplied resistance it’s got to be game over, even if it does take time.

Crush the spirit and destroy infrastructure, A short time line of events

Thats what they’re trying. Why I have given up understanding is that it hasn’t worked and Ukrainian spirit isn’t going to be crushed, as should be obvious. They’re rapidly crushing their own economy and reducing their conventional military capacity pretty much exponentially. Given that a UN resolution has passed to make Russia pay war reparations and that countries are legally able to use Russian funds and assets frozen or seized (at least the way I understand it), the biggest losers will be Russia. Ukraine will rebuild and they’ll be broke, economically hindered and militarily incapacitated which will put them back decades. It’s fucking stupid.

Maybe Ukraine should offer to house any disillusioned Russians… not exactly like the American Land Rush back in the pioneering days… but hold out an olive branch to those that want to re-locate… Or is that just being silly I wonder :man_shrugging:

The greatest evils always come from these lands, its very strange.

As you know, I am not defending this, but if you don’t care about rules of war, destroying critical infrastructure like electricity, internet, water and hospitals can be quite effective because it leads to a hell of a lot of problems for logistics for the enemy and can in some cases affect moilitary operations a lot. The aim is obviously to sap the will of the defenders as well, but yeah, that will not happen !

Some of you may have heard about the attack on Pavlika. Russia probably will retreat from there.

Medvedev gets told to bullshit a bit less:

That was a good read thanks. I feel the same about Ukraine victory, not so sure Russia will fully disintegrate.

Agree, it is quite speculative. Never the less worth the read

It was, discussing implications I had not considered. The realities of being a mobilized rookie in a trench in the south! Also the role of Wagner and Chechens, Dagestan even, and how already dissatisfied Republics might be viewing the demise of the Russian army. Huge internal troubles seem inevitable.

Its absolutely embarrassing; a shower of missiles for the G20. We’re dealing with the medieval.

A retreat to Crimea and wider Donbas seems the next hope for them.

A Russian missile has hit Poland in Przewodów and killed at least two Poles !!!
Probably shot over its target and missed, but the reason matters less than the effect !!!

Maybe two missiles, it’s not clear
