Hate to say it, I called that bit about Siversk a week or two ago.

They’ll get them though.

We’ll see, it depends where their offensive strikes too, but yes, looking precarious.

"The Biden administration is providing Ukraine with a new longer-range bomb as part of the $2.2 billion aid package announced Friday, but the new weapon likely won’t arrive until much later this year.

The weapon, the Ground-Launched Small Diameter Bomb, is made up of a precision-guided 250-pound bomb strapped to a rocket motor and fired from a ground launcher. It’s normally launched from the air and the ground-launched version does not yet exist in U.S. military inventory. It could take up to nine months for U.S. defense contractors to do the necessary retrofits." - from Politico

Some eyebrow raising comments here from Naftali Bennet who was Israeli PM at the outbreak of the war.

More relevant though are the final claims ; "Israel has repeatedly rebuffed requests from US and Ukrainian officials to send weaponry and air defence systems to Kyiv, focusing instead on humanitarian and medical aid.

Russia’s deployment of Iranian armed drones in Ukraine, however, was met with anger in Israel, where Tehran is viewed as an existential threat.

Israel has reportedly shared intelligence on Iran’s drone programme with Ukrainian officials, and has offered to assist Kyiv in creating a “lifesaving civilian early-warning system” to protect against aerial attack."

When the retreat comes, and it will come soon, it will be expected. More problematic is Sieversk. UA will likely have to withdraw. Mind you

In case you didn’t notice, the Russians have blocked and now pretty much crushed the UA Kremina offensive. UA lost almost all ground around Kremina and are under RU offensive now.

The war is a marathon though.
