I could post 100 posts, just sources, on the Zelninsky-Zalhuznhy saga, but prefer to wait. Just suffice to say that the general will be sacked or forced to step down eventually and that relations between them are completely fucked and that it is tragic.
Reuters today also reported that Zelinsky offered the job to the politically able, but military incompetent Syrsky, but that the latter thankfully declined. Now every serious analyst praying that the job goes to an able general and not to spy chief Budanov (who seems perfect for the role he actually has, but has no experience what so ever in planning offenses and defences and etc.)

no sense in beating a dead horse. weā€™ll see how that plays out.

Yeah, Iā€™ll just post when something actually happens. But of course negative for Ukraine that this is going on, particularly in public. Itā€™s Zelinskyā€™s people that leaked that he was about to be sacked in the first place, then huge backclash, some walkback, but clear that this is going on. I would really prefer it if they had more dicipline in war time and if they did not use the foreign media to vet decisons and etc.

But as you say. When it happens, we can write about it.

We shall see. We shall certainly not take the Russian MoDā€™s words for facts. But personally, I actually doubt they had worded it like this if the damage was extreme, as propaganda is more effective is some what closer to truth. So it likely isnā€™t extremely extensive unfortunately. But who knows, sometimes their lies are truly wild and when we get satelite photos, it can reveal much:

If thatā€™s the case, they should do something about it. How long are they going to allow a megalomaniac dictator to rule their lives? It is their apathy that is enabling him to do whatever he wants.

their apathy?

ever considered desposing a head of state? How exactly would you go about that?

Iā€™m interested to see what your solution would be like, in this day and age of snowflakes and Big Brother monitoring your every communication. How exactly would you organize that?

I donā€™t know what Iā€™d do. Iā€™m not in their position. Iā€™m not saying that itā€™d be a walk in the park, but plenty of dictators have been deposed and it was never easy. But they have to act for that to happen. Instead, most shrug their shoulders because itā€™s a war that does little to impact their daily lives other than causing them some embarrassment. And yet there are hundreds of thousands of their own countrymen lying dead or wounded or at some prison cell.

If they truly have had enough and they want to stop the bloodshed and get rid of Putin, they have do it themselves. There will be no deus ex machina coming to save them.

That must be a nightmare. I cannot even imagine. He has been tortured and deprived og basics in a cellar and first thing he hears when he is released is that his wife and children have been killed in his absence. I can imagine he kept going thinking of them in captivity.
I know its not fair or right to rank tragedies, but this one is grim:

for all the pro-Ukraine media, this war is really showing that if some asshole in a palace with far too much money and influence decides he wants to take a few million square KM of another country, heā€™ll do it. 10 years now
