You should not trust those numbers. Those are official Ukrainian numbers for estimated losses, they are not correct. You must remember that they also lie when it suits them.
This is a photo documented list:
Equally, I think there was a post a few days ago looking at the likely accuracy of the numbers being reported by Ukraine and Russia. In most cases the analysis was that Ukraine’s numbers were likely to be within about 10% of the real scenario (with a few exceptions). Russia’s numbers were just trash.
Ukraine’s numbers are too high in certain areas. One where they are very liberal is aircraft downed and another is how they count tanks. Their count of killed Russians also too high, but not incredibly so. Russian numbers are very bad.
On the other hand, photo documented list too low in many areas (because it is photo documented) but not very far off.
Russian advances continue:
The fall of Sloviansk would be critical. But that it’s under so strong threat, supply lines already targeted, is very concerning.
The situation in Sieveredonetsk very difficult. Battles raging very hard.
This was a real blow.
According to Ukraine, an estimated 100 UKR soldiers die a day, but some days worse than others. Intensive war.
RIP Mr Bondarev, you will be missed.
From the linked article - he was fired from RU Air Force years ago, and probably “served” with Wagner group now.
