Well done Ney.

Hoping for a few more transfers like that.

He’s a fucking joke and that meme that was posted he can get fucked.

Sorry, can we delete this? I don’t like the tweet’s source.

Is the hype over?

Also, there was a talented young spanish player we’ve been linked with among other clubs but he decided to go to Saudi (I believe). What was his name? How is he doing?

Oddly Messi going to Inter Miami really did burst this a bit.

For context, Neymar is only 4 months older than Salah. He could have had money and glory if he stayed at Barca, instead he is doing whatever the fuck this is.

Not that I sympathize with Barca. Thanks for the Countiho money Neymar.

He played 5 games and won 5 trophies and the blowhard blue ticks on Goebbels social media think that’s smart.

I don’t understand, he’s only just turned 21…

I wonder if some of those that went there and to China way before their twilight years will look back and regret giving up relevance for even more money. They weren’t exactly paupers back at home.

This may be of interest. The follow-up of course, is this one, which is rather more positive:

In a statement, Durán said: ‘When I was a young sperm, I dreamt of playing for Al Nassr.’

Unless you have spent some time in Latin America, it is hard to understand the mindset. The PL barely exists. Finding coverage is challenging, whereas ESPN’s La Liga Spanish-language package is everywhere. There are basically two teams a young player aspires to reach, Real Madrid or Barcelona, but maybe one of the others could be a stepping stone. Every club you play for is either a step on the way there, or a way of getting rich.

Duran is a good player, but getting to Real Madrid or Barcelona is already unlikely. Villa is a way of getting rich. Al Nassr is a way of getting rich faster.
