Im not for marking the seasons as null and void.
Cityâs accomplishments need to be removed without the second place team becoming the first.
Teams , including ours had some great matches in those seasons.
Let the legal clubs of the teams tear City apart for compensation. Scant it might be , I will have to do.
A 5 year ban from the premier league will effectively result in the team starting in non league football and the owners fucking off from there. Because the FL isnât going to accept City in there as well.

The appeal process has already been established - itâs 14 days to lodge, and then heard within 12 weeks. I think itâs time to drop the cynicism of this (and I was saying the same thing earlier). Weâve been hearing that the league would bottle this since the start of the process, and they absolutely havenât.
Iâve been thinking about the sanction side, and I think it has to be something that recognises the scale of the transgression. This isnât over-spending by a couple of million quid like Forest or Everton. Itâs a complete destruction of the foundations of the game. Itâs takes the idea that in sport there are a set of rules we all play to and we have to act in good faith, and it torpedoes them. It has to act as a deterrent to any club looking to transgress in the future.
So this what I would like to see.

A complete expulsion from the Premier League. Not a points deduction that leads to relegation - that seems like chickening out at this point. Expulsion. And they can go into whatever tier of the football will take them.

A 50 point deduction for each of the next three years they find themselves in the premier league limited to the next twenty years (in case they somehow persuade the Championship to take them, it means they would go straight back down again)

This isnât plucked out of the air - itâs based on the market value of the squad (around ÂŁ1.4bn by present estimates) and point here is that Man City should have to sell their players to fund that. The entire football operation should be, by necessity, dismantled. The caveat to this is that this money is used to compensate all the clubs who have been financially affected by City, and everyone needs to agree that there will be no further litigation on the matter. And City would be wise to take that gladly, because the alternative should to let clubs go wild litigating, and that would be far worse for them.

All titles and trophies in the period of time under this ownership be asterixâd to denote that they were obtained through cheating. I donât want to get into retrospectively awarding title to runners up, and stuff like that. Itâs impossible to say what would have happened had they not cheated. You canât draw an equivalence between us finishing a point behind them on 97 points and United finishing twelve points behind them on 74 points.

And one of the best parts of this is Pepâs credibility is entirely shot.
Thereâs no way heâs going to be mentioned alongside Klopp as being the best manager in the PL without a huge asterisk against his name.
It must be making him feel really empty inside knowing that fans wonât give him credit for walking the league with a cheating scummy club giving him money way beyond their actual means.
I hope with this the skeletons with the PgMOL come out into the open too. City canât just be this morally corrupt and not have the referees in their books

An interesting point I heard the other day was that you canât even have a conversation about rewarding the teams who finish second, because the City behemoth distorts that too. We collapse in 2021 and 2023, but we have the experience of knowing that itâs only possible to beat them by being perfect As soon as we have a few bad results we fold because we know itâs lost.
And in 2 other cases , we have an almost perfect seasosns only to be denied by the cheating scums in City and the other cheating scums in PGMOL.
Any wonder that Klopp retired.

The PL appeal process is relatively efficient but after that concludes City could still take it to the Courts.
Let them take it to the courts and then have the legal system drag it on for years while they are not playing football then.
Sanctions would be automatically stayed.
We got screwed over a quadruple on season where we had to contend with City cheating the league and then being so tired that we slipped up in the CL final by a game of very fine fucking margins. And madrid had some sheer dumb luck too.
Strongly disagree with this. Permanently erasing cheaty actually strengthens the league as it shows the rules count and the PL absolutely will be fine without the plastic cunts. The players will just piss of elsewhere anyway and the Manchester derby will just be against Oldham in the future. No-one will miss them.

Not enough. They need to be kicked out of the PL and made to begin at the bottom of the pyramid and so take 10 years just to get back to the football league (which is where they belong)

I think a likely end is their owners pulling the financial rug and allowing City to go into administration given the simply huge amount of damages theyâll be facing from manifold legal claims.
That will automatically finish them and a phoenix club will be formed, starting most likely at bottom of the football league.
All assets will be sold off.
I think titles will be stripped but probably not re-awarded.
Thatâs just my initial views.
