If only London Calling had been a single lp.

If it had been , who would you have plumped for ?

Marvin Gaye.

It’s still considered by most musos to be the best ever , and rightly so.

No, musos all agree that Rush are the best band ever. That’s beyond question.

Part of me wishes cardifpete was still around to tell you how you’re all wrong and a 12 hour, 76 track album consisting only of guitar and tingsha bells by a man from Nepal was actually the best album of all time.

My man! :fist:t4:

Not even their best work.

Still, three pretty great albums left - and The Eagles

Time for the final…

  • Ziggy Stardust- David Bowie
  • London Calling- The Clash

Voting closes same time next week, with the usual pub caveat.

I can’t vote on that, but it’s a worthy final.
So different, but both ground breaking in their own way.
I love both too much to vote for the other.

Too close to call?

Greatest album? They’re not even the greatest artists.

Not even top 20…

No need to bring @gasband into this! :unamused:

Stop invoking my name in vain!

Ziggy Stardust has been voted the Greatest Album by the good (but utterly clueless when it comes to music) people of TAN. A celebratory ham and copy of How To Save The Universe are winging their way in the post… strikes permitting.

This would be in my top twenty albums choice without a doubt… As for number one though - probably not…
Good competition :+1:

Is there any evidence of Russian interference in the vote?
