My Dad was on a walking holiday in Greece one year. They were walking in a canyon when a flash flood happened. Hearing the rumbling my Dad and a few others started scrambling up the slopes. 9 of the party were killed!

I went shark diving here just over 20 years ago. It used to be the only area in the world where Great Whites would breach out of the water. Now, these sharks are being threatened by Orcas…

This is what building in a coastal flood plain and then expecting the rest of the United States to provide annual disaster relief looks like. There is a reason that much of Florida is naturally low-lying wetlands.
