I strongly dislike how Arteta portrays himself in the public. I saw a quote talking about how they had 50 points at the halfway point and didn’t win the title so it could happen to any team.

That year they finished 84 points, City won it with 89. Your team had a monumental collapse to only earn 34 points in 19 games. He almost talks like how he thinks managers who’ve won things talk, except the great ones don’t talk like he does. He just loves the sound of his voice without having ever earned the credibility to talk as cavalier as he does.

Maybe he just rubs me the wrong way

Or maybe he’s a cunt.

I prefer the latter

Makes me glad I never bother with post-match interviews anymore (except when we win a trophy and occasionally Pep’s meltdowns). It’s all so tedious and/or theatrical most of the time.

Brutal schedule for them coming up as well. After two cup games against teams they will have to go all in against, they have Spurs and Villa in the league in a week, then away to a resurgent Wolves before coming across City who by that time might be right on their heels.
