The Arsenal Thread (Part 1)

I’ve been in key west so didn’t watch any of this.

You’re welcome.

Have Saliba as Captain for last two games. Even Saliba would be surprised someone would captain him in FPL

The likes of this will be getting into the heads of the Arse players :0)

4/6 attackers out injured is a serious blow, it would be felt in every team. Our depth and less injuries this season could prove to be the difference in the end.

I have to admit I feared opponents ‘decoding’ Slot football, referees, injuries and fatigue. We’ve been there before.

Been sure that we’re going to win the league for quite some time now but did not want to say it our load.

Even if Arsenal would have been able to close the gap now I’m sure that they will fall back when the CL k.o games start - especially with the injuries they have.

So we were always going to win the long race but glad we were finally able to kill them in the sprint.

AND NOW YOU’RE GONNA BELIEVE US…

This might be the point where Arteta decides he has to throw everything at the CL.

To do what? They aren’t winning it.

Real or Atletico are waiting after PSV.

From what little i’ve read on Arne about his time before coming here, he appears quite flexible, so i’m not so worried about him being ‘decoded.’

Don Robbie talks to Goldbridge weekly on That’s Football…they get together on a Friday to tip the upcoming results…

I was driving home from France this morning, listening to the show from Friday knowing the results.

Long story short, they know they’re fucked.

They are a bunch of pissy moaners they are only 8 behind if they win this game in hand. Get a grip.

That means making up 3 wins over 12. Any combination of 9 Arsenal losses or LFC wins closes them out. That loss to West Ham hurt them.

Yeah but he was discussing that on Friday. That was before the weekend.

They could effectively been a game in hand of two back. Like they reacted yesterday calling for his head. And it was entirely plausible based on the way we played recently and the fact they had West Ham

They are a pissy bunch of moaners, it does feel like the Man Utd game of the title winning season but for now I’ll keep my joy tempered and just enjoy the result and the lead it’s given us.

Ok, got to admit, I found the bus prices quite amusing.

LOL “I’d book it now you’ll get it cheaper” Talking about Liverpool being champions and booking the open top bus

Cant jyst blame arsenal fans for being moaners though.

We’ve had plenty on here pissing the bed when we drew with forrest and everton.

I reacted to Everton in not the greatest way but Aston Villa I still felt there were signs of something better. but it’s all silly I am getting a bit tired of some calling for Arteta to go… it took Rodgers* to serve up utter gash for me to want him to go.

By all means evaluate at the end of the season but they were bleating about 2 months back.

*Also didn’t think a lot of him dumping his “best mate” to safe himself.

Easiest way for them to lose the title is to filter that attitude via the stands and with the majority of games at home that could well happen.
