Like why bring off Zichenko, White or Tiernay they must have played all of 5 minutes this season.
Assume they can’t play a full 90. Still doesn’t explain why you’d risk 5 first teamers with 15-20 mins.

Because Arteta is clueless. He brought Saka on for 25 minutes earlier in the season when 4 nill up against Preston.

With MLS breaking through they have a 50 million quid CB/LB hybrid lots of fans from all over were raving about last summer who is available to step in. They have a RB/CB hybrid who is now back fit again who’s supposed underappreciation by Southgate was cited by Arsenal fans as the reason for England’s under achievement. They have a range of fall back options that most clubs competing for honours would love to have.

The club as such , they’ve got pedigree. Except in Europe and that leads me to their allez allez chant.

Some teams are larger in some positions/areas and shorter elsewhere.
They have 10 defenders, but out of which Tierney is as good as gone, Tomiyasu has a long term injury and Lewis-Skelly appeared out of nowhere this season.
So in reality, that’s normal numbers.
They do lack a bit in midfield and that goes unnoticed (in their whole “we need a striker!” hysteria), hence why it seems like Zubimendi is their target this summer.
It’s our goals and forward depth (linked to injuries, we’ve done well on that front) that will likely be the difference in the end.

Their remaining games (except vs LFC) are pretty easy.
