Did you see the one with the lightbulb? Fuck me ![]()
Almost entirely, our banners support our team and revere our legends and history. Occasionally, like this, something else sneaks in. My personal view is that it’s fine. File under acceptable banter. Arteta has been very outspoken lately, and if a couple of fans make a banner and have a little pop, fine.
There is a line though. For example, if the bulk of how you define yourselves as fans is by being against your rivals, and not for your own team - and Everton, I’m looking at you - then you need to give your head a wobble and support your own.
A little pop at Arteta? Fine by me.
Another reason to dislike the Arse:
Problem I have with this is, you can be very hostile to Israeli governments attacks on Gaza as I am but can we stick to that why does everything have to have a theory.
The guy deserves the sack for trying to look more intelligent than he is.
My view is to stop it you need to work with Israelis who oppose it and there are plenty. His kind of approach achieves nothing
Forget for a minute their toxic fan base and Lego man. The arse should have won a couple of titles under the Cheaty Dome, if a level playing field was in operation.
The real enemy should be obvious to all.
They’ve won the London league 3 years in a row.
I’ve heard the reward is mockery from several other league clubs.
Maybe they’ll sing their new song against us next season… ‘best team in London, you’ll never sing that, you’ll never sing that, you’ll never sing thaaaaaaat, best team in London, you’ll never sing that’

That aside, we might have three London clubs finish the season with trophies whilst theyve got fuck all.

Saw his interview today about why they didn’t win the PL. “injuries and red cards.” I understand circling the wagons and man management etc but he doesn’t seem to realize how much he looks like he’s trying to play the victim. I think that’s what stops him from entering that next level of managers. I’m sure one day it will come but humility and accountability go along way when progressing and maturing your team. Imagine getting told you’re the best team in the world and getting trashed in both the league and then in Europe lol.
That and his tactical ineptitude.
The dumb shite’s injury list has never even come close to our injury list from last season. Yet one team managed 82 points and the other can go eat shit.
Martin Keown on MOTD2.
“We’ve got our Arsenal back again”

He means “We’ve got our Arsenal back into being nearly men again”. ![]()
I hope for Arsenal’s sake, he is taking a different message into the changing room. If his analysis of the season is that they were unlucky, then they are fucked.
True and simple reason is they’re just not good enough.
In fact, as some had already stated, they have regressed.
22/33: runners-up, with margin of 5 pts.
23/24: runners-up (again), with margin of 2 pts.
24/25: almost certainly runners-up (yet again), with margin of at best 9 pts and at worst 18 pts.
His whole narrative around injuries is bizarre because it assumes he is an entirely blameless bystander to lads picking up injuries.
It’s Arteta’s choice to flog players to death - push them through games they don’t need to play, leaving them on the pitch when they could be rested. The Sakainjury in particular was telegraphed for weeks prior to it happening. He looked like he was running on fumes.
But but Pep does it and it’s fine!!!
