Yeah I’m not questioning the attacks quality but I mean in a defensive sense our forwards aren’t playing similarly to how our opponents do, so we aren’t practicing against that style. I just think our defenders might be able to handle physical forwards better if they had a decent one to train against.

It’s not so much a dig directly at Kelleher’s performance (bits of it weren’t great for sure, he has a tendency of conceding goals “through” him), but the whole defence and the link with our goalie, it was just too many either mistakes or on the verge of more mistakes.
Here’s one positive, Bradley’s cameo was good. Love his underlapping actions.
But really, that defence needs a bit of help this summer after years of our focus mostly going elsewhere.

Yep it is an issue and probably not something Arne hasn’t come up against much in Holland, although I may be wrong, it isn’t just our CB’s that need to understand their role but also the other players looking to be 1st to the 2nd ball.

Somebody that is central mostly forward, it’s in the title 
That’s the problem with the way we’ve played though especially under Klopp but it’s continued especially on the left side they’ve rotated across at times and your full backs sometimes push you in.
They are all forwards in my view, try and play Chris Wood in that formation and see how many he scores.

Although I would love to see our forwards rotate positions fluidly during games, it happens in the left but very rarely on the right.
I thought PSG forwards did it well agaist us.
That’s a privilege reserved only to Szoboszlai.
