Gives us some cover for the Asian and African cups.
Yeah they split the fixtures over two weekends so technically both teams get a period off, of course if you win the league cup Q-Final and draw in the FA Cup that two week period becomes shorter.

That gap between Jan 10 and 21 will be very useful/valuable.
The 1st 3 games will hopefully allow us to use the likes of Bradley ,Clark and McConnell as well as returning players and lesser used squad players without a drop off in wins

Yes, we can play the kids in the Chelsea game.
Bournemouth ,Fulham and Norwich.After that they’ll be more than ready to take on chelsea.
Looks like the Luton match will be moved because of the League Cup final. Would be fine with that because it’s a home game.
Would be 8 days to prepare for the final unless they make us play Luton a few days earlier in midweek.
By the way in that midweek the second leg of the Europa League playoffs take place.

They did not gave us the 12:30 match after the international break 
on Saturday March 30. They gave it to Newcastle and West Ham.
They gave us the Sunday 2 pm match against Brighton. Somebody screwed up in the office …
