What’s the point in buying another centre back and keeping both Phillips and van den Berg who’ll count to homegrown quotas but be sixth and seventh choice centre backs. At that point you might as well start looking at our youth teams and using someone like Quansah if necessary.
We could also buy Lavia who would count as U21 and therefore whether he’s homegrown or not makes no difference.
