Yup. Anyone with eyes can see that this guy is a talented footballer, but a total dickhead. He’s going to try to use them as a stepping stone to Barca/Real, and it’s going to mean he won’t be reliable in the press or in big games when the chips are down.
I was so happy when it became obvious we installed a “no dickheads” policy around 2015 or so. You can’t have characters like that on a team that wants to win things, not in this day and age. Sixty-five million quid for this guy is criminal, especially when you consider that the cunts in charge sacked off a few hundred workers and cut fringe benefits to nothing, using the excuse that they were close to administration/bankruptcy.
Absolute fucking joke of a club and I really really hope they go down next season after a couple of points deductions for PSR violations.
