Word from Argentinian press is that Martinez has done his ACL.
Well itâs better than him doing someone elseâs ACL with his 2 footed stamp
Not gonna lie, I had this exact same thought, felt guilty for about 0.7secs, then moved on with my life.
You reap what you sow.
Same knee as before, too. Heâs likely finished at this level, hard enough to come back from one ACL rupture, but a second one and you have to start questioning the integrity of the repaired ligaments.
I donât wish injury on anyone, but thatâs not one of the saddest things Iâve seen. The way he goes about his business often seems dangerous to the opponent.
Yeah but United are involved so itâs âsensibleâ
What did I say this morning?! We might not have hit rock bottom yet! Well bloody hell, we havenât! You never know whatâs around the corner. WellâŚyou do at United. Itâs another big turd in the face!
Mark Goldbridge on Tel choosing to join Tottenham, 3 February 2025
Now that theyâve signed Dorgu, this probably removes them from the discussion around Kerkez ( if ever there was any serious interest on either side, i havent a clue).
as if heâd choose united over us

No Rashford, no Antony, Martinez out indefinitely. Addition by subtraction? Maybe they have some youth who will get chances, but that doesnât leave a large margin for error even if they are only sustaining competition in the PL (not out of the FA Cup yet)
Malacia is also out on loan now and i dont think Shaw is back yet either.
They do have Dorgu joining and Garnacho hasnt left though.
Theyâre going all in on the Europa League. Alarmingly, they were the only team in either the CL or EL that made it through the league stage without recording a loss, mind you they had 3 draws and finished in 3rd place overall.
I donât think they have a chance at winning the EL to be honest. Itâs one thing to shithouse wins against the likes of Rangers in a one-off game at Old Trafford, but the two-legged format will be less kind to them, I reckon.
As soon as they meet anyone decent over two legs, theyâre toast.
Report this morning asking if Dorgu could be Utdâs Gareth Bale. I refuse to read such nonsense so I assume the question is referencing that it took Bale 2 years to win his first game at home for Spurs
Maybe he is a keen Golfer.
And I canât see them making the CL.
In fact they might not even have Europe. First time since the post Moyes season.
Probably should go too early on these things, but I donât think they are going to get in the Champions League either.
