I found it bloody hilarious.
Then it struck me, those were people on minimum wages. Given the economic conditions in the UK, this decision would probably drive them to destitution.
Bloody, fucking monster.

Luke Shaw earned Ā£6 million in the last calendar year and hasnāt started a single game
Thatās the equivalent to 100 members of staff each earning 60 grand a year
From redcafe.
I think Iād be ashamed to go into work and look others in the eye if I earned that for that level of work.
Then again Iām not a multimillionaire or billionaire like Jim. That kind of attitude must come easily and rub off well.
Look after the pennies and the pounds will waste themselves?
Heās making Mr Burns look Socialist.
Penny wise, pound foolish!
One of my favourite stories ever was related to Redondo who picked up a serious injury shortly after joining Milan from Real, before he could play for them. He famously refused to take a pay check from them (might have and given it to charity) until he was back fit enough to play. Imagine the goodwill if some of these under performing arses covered some of the adminstrative cost of the club currently being gutted.
I did see one insider say this could take over a decade, I donāt want to worry Jim butā¦
Its bad enough for the affected staff but what message does this send out to potential signings ?
Erm, we have fruit?
Baron Jimās Munchausen United
Casemiroās wages covers the 450 people laid off by Ratcliff
Hope he stays for the entire duration of his contract.
Ā£1 billion in interest over the past two decades, hundreds of millions in dividends paid out, OT falling apart and 15th in the table with a squad full of dross.
What did FSG spend to rejuvenate Anfield, £300 million?
When Ragnick said the club needed open heart surgery, I donāt think this is what he was talking about.

Not to mention that the Glazers took some 1.5b for that 28% of the club from Ratcliffe. That money could have been used to clear the debt totally and hence make it more easier for the club.
That money was used to pay out some of the Glazer clan. IIRC there were six Glazers and two sold their shares to INEOS. But none of it was reinvested in the club.
FTR INEOS is implementing the playbook H&G would have done, though even H&G werenāt this bad.
Iām beginning to think administration may have been the best thing to happen to LFC over the past two decades.
The £20 million Ratcliff is saving annually in redundancies will likely be used at least in part to refinance the debt on the club when it comes due.
Iāll take a look at the debt structure later. But with Ā£1 billion in debt and interest rates rising, a 2% increase in the cost of debt = Ā£20 million.
The sackings of ETH, his staff and Dan Ashworth cost the club ~Ā£15 million
