The Man Utd thread

I also recall some issue in the 90s where someone tried a variation using a one footed scoop, but the kill joys found issue with that as well for a lot more dubious reasons.

So it’s should have never stood in the first place??

Don’t say that in Coventry - outside the 87 cup win, it’s their proudest moment.

That Keith Houchin goal is to this day one of my favourite non-liverpool goals. My god, the hours we spent in the garden trying to recreate it, efforts largely of futility as anger grew on all sides at how no one could put the cross exactly where it was needed to pull the diving header.

Yep, it was a botched officiating decision all along.

I remember that game like it was yesterday.

As soon as it was over I went to the park to try and recreate it, as did every other kid in the town. I think more of them ended up sliding face down through dog shit than made any kind of contact with the ball.

The eighties were great.

Brighton and Palace have both won at Old Trafford in 2025, while United struggled to beat both Leicester and Ipswich at home.

Sociedad have got every chance of getting a result next week.
