America wouldnāt allow it, but China has the clout to mediate. It would also fit their agenda to exert more global influence.
The problem in this situation is that Israel is so far out of whack with the sensibility of most of the world, that any mediation would be deemed unsuitable by them.

Aside from America not wanting China to be involved for the obvious reasons.
But if China does involve itself , it will further complicate the matters given that Chinese relations with Iran.
Israel wonāt accept any mediations etc in the first place so the point is moot.
The only country which they will listen to is US and it does seem that US is increasingly losing its hold on Israel.
And China (despite their rather huge military and economic might) has blood on their hands w.r.t their deplorable treatment of minorities in Xinjiang. I highly doubt the Chinese would allow the inevitable questions on that to be asked which would definitely be the case if they involve themselves in this matter.

One possible solution that Israel has floated (itās probably not even workable) is that the Arab countries put their soldiers in to police the borders. After leaving quite a bit of buffer area.
Needless to say , the Arab countries wonāt get themselves involved in anything like that.
For a country so sensitive to the gratuitous use of Holocaust / WWII analogies , they are remarkably glib when it comes to using them themselves.

Even if thereās a two state solution (which is highly doubtful at this stage ) but assuming that thereās a two state solution of some sort , what would the borders of the Palestinian state and the size of that to cater for the Palestinian expats ?
The right to return proposed by Arafat was solely meant to scupple any deal and isnāt even achievable.
It could just be the entire Palestinian population being restricted to two to three cities - Ramallah and some cities in Gaza strip.
Especially If Israel has its say with continued settlement buildings
The unwritten rule in situations like this is to not send the army in. Army of any country for that matter.
Any situations like this where the army is involved almost always makes situations even more dire. Sending the army is a death sentence , many countries have done that , and none have ended well in the long run

I didnāt know that Jerusalem Post is such a fascist institution. I saw an interview of their editor regarding the killings of the Israeli hostages by IDF, and he basically conveyed the idea that such sacrifices are necessary to defeat Hamas.

I think he is brilliant. He knows that US has so deeply entrenched itself with Israel that they canāt do anything. This is not the first time he is defying US & EU concerns, he has been doing it for decades. This time, he is just throwing it on their face.

Finally people with the backbone to tell the truth about the current official mindset in Israel. I hope that this statement, coming from Jews well-placed to know everything about what the word genocide means, will make an impact and change the narrative somewhat, especially in the US, where too many people and politicians are obviously thick, stupid and ignorant.
