Would have been damning if anybody cared.

Perhaps it turned out to be a slightly inaccurate announcement. (Khaitab Hezbollah announced that they would recommence strikes against US bases because US does not pull out of Iraq etc., according to previous tweets now deleted).
Maybe that’s not exactly the wording of what they said.
But then you have this:
https://twitter.com/TBowmanNPR/status/1782179122527043641

But I don’t want to trawl right now, so perhaps the announcement was fake news since otherwise decent enough news source deleted it. Probably so.

Edit: In any case, I apologice. A google search (because of course I trawl when i get curious) seems to indicate that this is a story originating from Iranian sources, then tweeted by western sources and analysts, but the Iranian story seems to be not only propaganda but fake.

As far as I can see, Khaitab Hezbollah has not officially made such an announcement. But of course, attack US now 2 days ago seems consequental and it could be that they will launch smaller strikes with more plausible deniability instead of making it official, but that’s speculative.

Anyway, carry on. Not too important and sorry for the diversion.

283 bodies in one grave. Two other potential graves identified in same compound.

NYT still yet to even acknowledge this, while providing wall to wall coverage of student protests at the city’s most prestigious university, against which there is tremendous motivation from the formerly ā€œfree speech is criticalā€ crew to shut them down.

So much of our coverage of this issue is centered in the predetermined idea that Israel are the good guys and the Palestinians are the bad guys and pretty much every story is told from the perspective of that already being unquestionably true

These anti-Israel agitators who are not protesting peacefully need to be locked up in jail and fined heavy. Unfortunately, due to New York giving more rights to criminals over law-abiding citizens, these kids will be out and back on the streets probably within 6-12 hours after arrested.

follow the money. you’re not wrong.

most American’s who bitch about the Ukraine $60B that just went through congress aren’t clever enough to know that the money isn’t actually going to Ukraine, but to the armanents/munitions companies that are shipping it all overseas. Most of which, are owned by Americans and employ Americans. Companies like BlackRock which own a large portion of Lockheed, as an example (largest military contractor, $60,000,000,000/yr in revenue)

A good majority of us already know of this. Well, a good majority of us who don’t only watch the propaganda these bullshit mainstream medias spill to us (CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc etc…).

There’s already data of all the politicians who has stocks invested in these Military Industrial Complex companies and how much they are making off prolonging these wars. There’s a reason we don’t hear talks about ceasefires, negotiations to ending the conflicts, etc. They can all sit there and wave their stupid plastic Ukraine flag all they want. They don’t give a damn about how many people are dying in these wars, just as long as the cash keeps hitting their bank accounts.

not from what I’m seeing, maybe you’re the exception not the rule

PS…I’m Ukrainian so please be mindful of the stupid plastic flags…

My apologizes. Just makes me sick knowing most of them are putting on a show for the cameras.

the politicians, I assume you’re talking about…

Yes, it’s all a giant sham. Politicians steady Politicking.

when I was walking around NYC last sept, I came across BlackRock’s shiny new HQ near the Chelsea High Line. Pretty posh neighborhood

I don’t want to de-tour this to the Ukraine conflict since it’s the middle east thread but yeah…you can def. expect Black Rock to be involved 100% in everything.

Dwight Eisenhower tried to warn us about the Military Industrial Complex back in 1961. That probably went over 98% of the Americans head and the 2% was smart enough to start investing in MIC stocks.

  • Over-dependence from oil and gas.
  • Climate warming and environmental catastrophe.
  • AI menacing to put us on the touchline for the profit of a tiny elite if nothing is done about regulating them in time.
  • Handling potential mass immigration, now and in the future.

There is a lot to discuss and resolve, vital issues which can only be resolved at a global scale. But they prefer to ignore all of this, swing their nationalist speeches and enrich the arm merchants. Which is of course a handy way to hide their complete ineptness, if not nastiness when handling the above-mentioned issues.

But I’ll shut up about this now. Meanwhile:
