Israel has taken control of and has closed the Rafah crossing. Karem Salom crossing is also closed.

Note the shift here from Hamas to Gaza.

Is there a bigger scumbag…

According to a foreign diplomatic source familiar with the negotiations, the outline Hamas accepted Monday night is, at its core, the same as the Egyptian proposal which Israel has already approved.

About six months too late. Better late than never, I guess :person_shrugging:

Nothing new, still very damning.

Aljazeera used to have several journalists in Gaza but I’m seeing only one (Hani Mahmoud) in the last few days.

Some good analysis here explaining why Rafah is so crucial.

Netanyahu is seriously isolated and the fascists are his only remaining ally. He is doing everything to please them. Not to mention that he is hoping for an unlikely breakthrough that will turn his fortune around. Scum.

I agree. At this point , he seems to be clutching at straws for some move by Hamas which would afford him some breathing space.

US in all likelihood would stop any actions taken by the international court of justice to hold him accountable for his actions. Had it not been the election year for Biden , I would have thought he would be more willing to pressurise Netanyahu and his cohorts by giving indications that US would not hinder ICJ.
