The Music Thread

Limie’s Jacob Collier reference above made me think of this. He is playing a five stringed guitar. I play guitar but he has reinvented it for himself, as a genius musician. The arrangement is very difficult, his singing is spot on, and he directs the choir effortlessly in a very moving peace.

I think I’d only ever heard Swamp Thing from them. That is a lot groovier. It almost feels like a Twin Peaks sample

For many people the words of this song are too appropriate these days.

Last gig of the month for me, and it’s gonna be a good one

Five straight losses. There’s only one thing for it …

The best gig I’ve been to since Gojira, absolutely brilliant live.

Saw Megadeth last night, probably for the penultimate time. It’s a pity they (well, Dave) are calling it quits as they are still a very potent live band. Dirk (drums) and Teemu (lead guitar) really shine through.

Who’d have guessed that the Jungle Brothers were Liverpool fans ( Well at least one of 'em ! ) Check it out.

The Sound - YouTube

SWANS - I saw these legendary gentlemen in Leeds on Friday night, Im still emotional enough to say its the best gig I ever attended. Just an awesome interaction of big sounds, the movements from heavy to light, it was all impeccable. This classic is from 1996.
