The non-English songs (the good ones) are truly maddening.
I don’t the know languages so I don’t understand the words. But the music, the rhythm, the overall ambience resonates very close to the heart and I feel if I listen a bit carefully, once or twice more, I will understand. But I don’t. It’s truly maddening.
There is atonality here

Glad to pay you back some for the Scott Walker nod a couple of weeks back. Richard Thompson was in Fairport Convention, so I guess you were thinking of Danny Thompson (no relation) who was Pentangle’s excellent bass player. Weirdly, he’s the stand-up bass player who solos in the live track I posted

Yeah thanks for that, no Richard, and youve forged a new vibe between me and my Dad who has been into Richard for years. I text him the track you posted he replied ‘Superb, got it’. I really did not know he could play so wildly, its extremely good. Just my ticket, and the hardest playing in my book, to go wrong but right, full mastery. A new avenue to mine !
