Edit: when i bought the first soundtrack , it was a tape, of all the places, i remember vividly, it was a music shop in Trier, Germany, the sleeve, words were in German. I was just happy to have the tape, so we could listen to the songs on the car.

Black Sabbath closing the Commonwealth Games! Takes me back to my school days.

Was Ozzy Osbourne there?
I am surprised hecis still here?

Dammit. Didn’t see it live but to have the great Ozzman back with Iommi is cool.

Just being a bit fussy, I read they performed Paranoid - not in their top 20 imo.

Children of the Grave, Sabbath bloody Sabbath, into the Void….but love em all.

Yep, Ozzy was there, although he didn’t move much. His voice still sounded good though. They did one track, Paranoid.

I’ve heard bits of Ozzy’s new album which is due out in the autumn and it sounds pretty good. Saw the Black Sabbath clip and it’s great to see him and Tony Iommi back on stage together. I don’t think either of them are in great health but that’s a genre defining partnership. Iconic.

All of a sudden, I wanted to listen to Shostakovich’s “Romance” from The Gadfly. Here it is.

I can’t say that my tongue is swollen with devil’ s love, but I do think that this is the best track off David Bowie’s second-most under rated album. Even better than the title track.

Thanks, getting a feel for this band.

I was enjoying that then someone started singing.

I like his vocals though. Very Dio’ish that song and he’s more than being just a Dio clone.

On aside , listening to Tamil and Telugu (mostly Telugu) Ilayaraja songs. One of the best if not the best Indian film music composers of all time.

Is there anything other than the vocals that goes above 300Hz on that?

Tune low, play slow.

Been on a Khruangbin binge.

Just been to see Bauhaus at Brixton Academy.

Wonderful band but no support act or anything; just one and a quarter hours for seventy quid. Finished at half nine.

Not impressed.
