Did same (stayed home) years ago when my girls were little, and wife took them to Hannah Montana.
She phoned me just as Hannah came on saying, “Just wanted you to know what 20,000 screaming pre-teens sounds like!”

I agree, she’s a significantly better singer. Swift’s songwriting is also hugely overrated. She essentially writes the same three songs over and over.
Plastic Hearts is comfortably better than any album Swift has released.

Before politely asking everyone to discuss music in music-related threads, I have to give my two cents and state that Miley is levels above Swift as a singer (wasn’t bad in Black Mirror as well), that Swift’s songs are shit and a constant reminder that talentless persons can become not just rich but also influential because they pander to an audience that is big in numbers, easy to impress and because they have whole industry standing behind them and making profit on everyone in the meantime.
