The Owners - FSG

I have no idea about the members and their activities & achievements. But I feel they lack the confidence of the supporters. Otherwise they would have been the first point of contacts for all the major issues with the supporters.

I wonder why we decided to replace the whole medical staff, who were the reason why our medical department was very highly regarded during 2018-2020, after winning the league.

Massive injuries did not occur for no reason.

The last thing I would do is replacing our current excellent medical/fitness personnel and hiring some new staff from fucking Arsenal.

We didnā€™t. Andy Massey left to join FIFA.

Thatā€™s a great post @Iftikhar. :clap::nerd_face:

Iā€™ve already put this link in the pitchside forum thread on reforming European football but think it is worth adding here - essentially FIFA appear to have been supporting the super league proposals.

This is the same playing both sides that the FA did with Project Big Picture. Honestly, the whole load of football governing bodies need tearing down.

Apparently the Government also backed it

Is there any governing body in any sport / business / walk of life thatā€™s fit for purpose?

Tiny example. After 7 years as a governor at jnrā€™s school we moved from ā€œWeā€™ve always done it like thisā€ to ā€œKlopptimist strongly advises us that things have changed over the past 30 years at every meeting with admirable persistence and vigour. However as itā€™s always worked so far, weā€™ll just carry on of thatā€™s OKā€

Throw in a few Ā£Ā£Ā£Ā£Ā£ for the members and thatā€™s pretty much it.

No way! But they slammed it almost immediately after they saw the public backlash to it. Who can you trust if you canā€™t trust the government?!

Some of them!

Evidently it seemed someone ran it past some SPAD he didnā€™t bother reading much into it and Johnson as usually waved his hand until he realised how it looked and then he U-turned.

Tempted to put myself forward for the Supporters Board. Will watch developments closely.

SOS will have that well stitched up.

Yes, probably. Theyā€™re set to be responsible for running it but are clearly under an obligation to ensure fan representation from individuals beyond their membership. Iā€™d like to see how that translates in practice.

More detail here:

I particularly love the comments on SOSā€™s statement where itā€™s ā€œCan you now tell FSG to buy whatever player Klopp wantsā€ā€¦ The sheer stupidity of most of the general public knows no bounds.

SOS clearly see the Supporters Board as being their own fiefdom. Hmm.

ā‰  There will be a formal recognition agreement between SOS and LFC. This will become part of the clubā€™s constitution so that if / when the ownership changes, this contract will remain in place.

I wonder, do they mean SOS here or the Supporters Board?
