But importantly, the timing and the speed of delivery has been very bad (of course the political communications have been even worse). And it’s not a lot per capita if I want to be critical. Norway delivers much more per capita.
Even so, those problems being noted and put under a lens, the perception that Germany has sent virtually nothing is dead wrong.

A good read. The Russians have some hard choices ahead to solidify their lines. Let’s hope the stupidity and hubris that they’ve displayed thus far leads to them not making them.

Re: the Russians killing retreating troops. The tactic is known as barrier troops and was used in the Soviet Union particularly during the Second World War.
There were reports that this was deployed in Syria but I don’t know whether this was ever confirmed. Of course, this could just be propaganda - possibly from either side as it could be an advantage to encourage conscripts to surrender rather than fight on or risk retreat.

I dont know. Maybe they forgot it or were in a rush too. The way they destroyed that house was just animalistic.
