Must be hopped up on some kind of upper. Amphetamine is my guess.
The war is not going well for Ukraine, but we have at least still Igor Girkin writing on Telegram from prison to heighten morale, since the war is also not going well for Russia:

Most people in the West have no fucking idea how cruel their culture is/has become/has returned to; I note.
Thats the thing about war. When you are killing and getting killed, life feels cheap and when anything goes, anything egregious goes. That in turn fuels further egregious actions and so on. When you consider what has happened and is happening in Ukraine and Gaza (to name only two) then sadly cruelty seems ordinary. The banality of evil.
War or not Russian culture has always seen levels of cruelty greater than most other ‘European’ nations. It’s why it’s the country I most definitely would fight against. I don’t want that for anyone.
Errmm…
My point: you can very easily find high levels of cruelty a bit everywhere in history. Russia have had cruel rulers, and Putin is one of them.
But I find it always problematic to picture a whole country in one brush like that. Let’s condemn Putin and his croonies by any means, but I’m sure that many Russian people would prefer to live in a free society, especially those mourning the 100ks dead people who lost their lives for fuck all.
Recognizing that Russians are human beings too will make it easier for everyone in the future to make peace with them again, once that utter cunt will have gone to hell as he deserves.
There are indeed a few brave souls in Russia.

Gubarev has become skeptical (I don’t share his assessment that they have had 1 mil killed, sounds way too much; but it sure is a lot):
