The Sackrace Thread

That’s a hell of a stat! Maybe that’s part of the reason why they used to churn out so many great players.

I do remember about a year into Klopp’s reign realising he was the 10th longest serving manager in the football league.

Shows the churn really.

Can we hold this against them as a reason never wanting them to come back up?

People talk about Norwich being the most embarrassing Prem club in history…Surely Watford are up there? As much of a yoyo club and this Pozzo chap is going to run out of managers to employ soon…I mean rumours were they were looking at bringing Xisco back ffs.

I’ve held it against them for some time, I really dislike them as a club, never had an issue with Norwich yoyoing

Nah, they’re happy to re-hire guys they’ve fired before so they will always find someone to hire!

I mean I’ve never been sacked from any job in my life, I’m too much of an asset, but even if I was ever to be (made redundant or whatever)…I would never go back.

But I guess only in football can you be sacked by a club and then reappointed…by that same club under the same ownership.

Dunno if your energy bills have risen it’s a nice pay out.

This Edwards guy is sorted for the winter

#Wolves are considering the future of head coach Bruno Lage. 1 win from the last 15 Premier League matches. 3 goals scored this season. Lage’s position in major doubt tonight #wwfc

Lage said post match “When we started a game with a striker in the Premier League, we never lost.”

Is that really true lol?

This is football and football has no logic.

At least we don’t play them for a while then again it might have been good to have played them.

Hope people didn’t plunk too much coin down on Brendan to be next on those short odds.

Shame, I liked him last season.

Wilder sacked at Boro. Seems a bit strange to me as they had the international break to sack him and get someone new in, so can’t understand why they would do it after 1 game post international break.

You could say the same for Lage at Wolves, why do it after the 1st game back, why not do it in the international break when you give yourself time to get the new gaffer in?

Hes been a disaster for Borough, 20 points out of 63 - found it strange he was linked with someone higher in the league who have/had a vacancy.
Rob Edwards who was sacked by Watford last week is in line to take over at Borough.

Wasn’t there a season during the noughties where like only 2-3 managers were given the boot?

Now it’s like you can go from winning the league for the first time in the clubs history to getting sacked 3 months later, it’s a madness.

I get that he hasn’t been good enough, but I dont understand why Boro didn’t act during the international break, rather than 1 game after they resume.

agree but you are trying to add logic to football club owners
