Romero was still playing at full time.

He attempted to but couldn’t, had to walked off the pitch before the final whistle.

Shame, their second choice keeper had an absolute nightmare. Feel for him.

When I saw Kinsky playing, I thought Vicario must be injured then. Then he comes off the bench. Then I listened Tudor’s post match interview and the argument to start Kinsky ahead of Vicario didn’t make enough sense to me.

I hadn’t quite realized how bad their slide is now - Forest have not won a match in the last 6, but have still gained 2 points on Spurs. Every other team has gained more. Those two play on March 22

If we don’t add 3 points to our season on Sunday, then seriously every player needs to question where their head is fucking at right now!

They should have questioned that already after the Wolves league match

First day off in a month so just lying in my hotel bed watching Rangers vs St Mirren. Seen a lot of talk about Mikey Moore being a starter for Tottenham next season but on the basis of this game he isn’t ready for that. Doesn’t look very effective, struggling to beat a man and several heavy touches at key moments.

As I type this he just let the ball run under foot for a throw in which is the third control error in a minute.

Glad you’re ok.

Think a season as a starter in a Championship side would be good for his development… will Spurs allow it??

Well I think the idea is that he would be playing for Spurs in the Championship! But I do think there is a certain arrogance of clubs who get relegated thinking they can throw in a bunch of teenagers to the Championship and win every week.

Spurs linked with Adi Hutter as their next interim appointment.

If the answer is “bring in Adolf H. to lead us back to glory,” I don’t want to know the question or who’s asking it.

And they want either De Zerbi or Pochettino as their next permanent option.

I do like how his Wikipedia has an explanation why his parents called him Adolf with that surname

To be fair they could not call him jabba.

Croatia and Spurs have an absolute gem at CB on their hands.

Luka Vuskovic.

Currently on loan at HSV, but I’m not sure he’ll even be a Spurs player for a long time, because this boy will probably merit a move right to the top of the game (who knows when Spurs will get there again…) very soon.

It’s a bit weird seeing Spurs with a real possibility of going down and having some of those options at CB at disposal. Romero is not the youngest anymore, but vdVen will surely have clubs interested in him and in my opinion, Vuskovic’s ceiling is higher than both.

A few things to sort out in his game of course, but he’s quickly proving, even just having turned 19, that he’s already at a level that is becoming difficult to ignore.

It’s great from Croatia’s point of view, as we soon come to a likely end of Modric’s era and having Vuskovic & Gvardiol at CB in the future could be our defensive equivalent of two top players in a similar position at big clubs, like Modric and Rakitic were in their prime.

I saw a headline yesterday suggesting we were considering a move for him this summer. I couldn’t see the source of the headline though so assume for now there wasn’t much in it beyond an obvious interest in the player.

He might be the case of basically every top club right now being interested to at least hear what Spurs might consider selling him for, though of course, with Leoni in last summer and Jacquet in the bag for an important fee… I don’t think we’d be high on the list of clubs really going for him this summer.

The kid and his entourage will also have a say. A lot depends on what happens with Spurs. Who’s in charge there, what’s the formation like, what happens to other CB’s. Could he stay there and play next season if they’re in the PL, could he spend another season on loan at HSV or maybe at a more competitive club playing in Europe (Dortmund are one of the clubs he’s linked with) or maybe get a permanent move.

I remember Gvardiol already attracted some PL interest after not a lot of games for Dinamo Zagreb. He rejected Bielsa’s Leeds to go to Leipzig and it probably was the right move. Didn’t take long for him to end up at City and attracting interest all over the place.

I suppose it will depend on what we do with Konate or even VVD. I assume if we do lose one of them we may seek someone now like Schlotterbeck

Kulusevski hasnt played since May of last season and so its likely that Spurs will have their 4th different manager in place since he last played by the time he returns at the start of next season
