As I said Archie Gray is their captain, sure he’s a nice lad but he doesn’t come across as a captain to me.

I thought De Zerbi was a decent manager. I must be completely wrong about that. With all the money they spent, plus a decent manager, I was thinking Spurs would be up there in at least the Europa spots. Couldn’t have got it more wrong!
Surely De Zerbi gets the chop? Or is it too soon? There’s just no sign that it will come together.

As for Villa, they sold a lot of players but they look to have a good side again. Emery is hardly unknown, but I do think he is a bit underrated. He’s a very good manager indeed.

His performance today was exactly what we saw from him the his last 2 season that made us realize we needed someone younger. He still looks class most of the time, but is just a step off it meaning not much comes off for him and he is too often found wanting in situations when the opposition score

Wasn’t it their first win? Jury is out on if Emery can get Villa back after the losses they had.
Anyhow De Zerbi seemed decent at Brighton but like Brentford the set up helps the club.
