Latest gossip…I thought that in one of the interview more recently, Gerrard said that he is not ready to be a manager and need more time.

I think it was that he wasn’t ready for Liverpool specifically?
I don’t know too much about Burnley as a club, but I’m sure Gerrard knows that his next job could make or break his progression to some extent, so it’s got to be right for him. I hope he learned from past mistakes too and goes on to be a roaring success (just not against us if our paths cross).
No, he said that he’s certainly up for having “one or two” more good attempts at it. He doesn’t have to rush decisions, probably needs to be the right project for him and he also wants to assemble a quality coaching staff around him. Which he feels is very important for the way he works. He might already have a few members who were with him before willing to join him in the next job, but there might be free spots for new ones.
