The thread for jokes that don’t meet Flobs’ exacting standards

Know a few of those

I’ve been looking at that for 10 minutes now. I still don’t get it :man_facepalming:

Rose West

So they’ve named their stand after a serial killer… :man_facepalming: Clever.

The agent that has bought the naming rights is called Gilbert & Rose.

Because it was previously called The West Stand, they stupidly combined to the 2 names

It reminds me of a college I know here in the States. One of their esteemed professors was called Lewis Foster. When he died they brought in a marketing company to do up new logos and names and so on, and one of the new names under consideration was Foster University.

A student pointed out that the college would be known as F.U. and that put paid to that potential name.

Anyone remember a band called Phd from early 80’s

When I was a student I had a snooker cue.

It was a cool one as it had dragons on the side, and the name of a snooker player on the other side. (Marco Fu)

I liked it because on the other side to the dragons it said in big letters Fu Cue :joy:

The best one of these is the Colin Bell stand at Man City, or the Bell End as it is known.
